A relationship is made up of more than one individual joining in a partnership. You tend to count on the one you partner with; friend, sister, brother, husband, wife. You can have more than one relationship but the good ones are the one to keep track of.
Generally you don't choose your team mates. Usually, things fall right into place, boy meets girl and so forth. The connections can be so strong that it makes you cringe, knowing that you are binded. All it takes is one invite, one conversation to seal the bind. Before you know it you are sharing Burgers and talkin' story ;).
'You surprise me, you are nothing that I expected. I call you out on your faults and you take it like a champ. You treat it like its nothing, but it's more than something, it's everything to me. You have become my everything within one wee moment. I tell you more than I know about myself without even asking. There is nothing to figure out, just to learn.'
I love you for everything you are and everything you make me want to be. Our big dreams are dreamt together. I enjoy my days with you and look forward to sharing tomorrow too. We didn't choose to be together we are meant for one another.
So this is my present to you: Happy Birthday Partner and I Love You.

BaLaNcE.:.:.:..
So as I'm looking up the actual definition of 'balance' it amazes me how many different ways one word can be used.
'When I think of balance I think of the same amount of mass on either side. The more interesting way of thinking about balance is the concept of what makes up the other side of the spectrum. when you have outa concept you need it to be...'
OK so note to self: don't attempt to write blog while falling asleep. :)
i appreciate the concept of balance. when things are balanced that means that they are equal and in order. Order means under control and that I appreciate. When you start to put things together you generally walk in with a plan as to make it work. Not everything goes as planned, as we all know. Dealing with ambiguity developes character. How we deal with stess sets us apart for leaders and followers. i would say that there are more followers than leaders, but thats fine as long as there is a balance between the two. The question is where do we fit in to balance each other?

Colorful Dinner
So tonight was a complete trial and error kind of evening. The only error that happened was that i just didnt have enough room in my stomach.
I made roasted butternut squash and sweet potatoes, tomato and red pepper soup, and garlic parmesean crustinies. Yum. No meat and for me thats alot. By no means am i ever going meat free but it was refreshing. I really enjoy cooking in my kitchen, even if its once a night. Audrey loves to watch me, its like de ja vu. The simple foods, thoughts, memories are what make big thoughts.
Simple flavor was my triumph tonight (and enjoying what I cooked). The round about way of saying something is like taking the long way home. Same thing different direction. But its not how you get home or how you cook your food or what flavors you like; its the journey getting there all the wee moments in between that make us who we are and not what we are. And that is something to be pround of and able to enjoy.
